Dooms Day Swell
Well turns out surfers from Jersey were saying this might of been one of the best swells they had ever seen. Guess who was there for it? ME! The forecast called for 4-6 foot with offshore winds for the morning. I awoke the next morning near Bay Head and the barrier island again had flooded badly and many areas were closed. The destruction down there was unbelievable from sandy. I was looking into peoples living rooms that no longer had walls or roofs from the beach side. I ran up the dune and was blown away. It was a solid 6-8 ft with 10 foot bombs occasionally coming through. I was a little under gunned and only had a 5'6 . These might of been some of the best waves I have ever seen/surfed on the east coast. The barrels were so wide you could of put a small car in them. These are the days that remind me that there is no place that I would trade on this earth for being apart of the East Coast surfing scene. Happy New Year everyone and hope you all score in 2013

Atlantic Awakes
I was starting to think that I was living in the midwest somewhere till this past week where she finally awoke and sent us some fun little waves. Jarvis and I got some perfect chest to head high a-frames all day. The best part was it was all to ourselves!! Sorry we havent had any updates up in a while but it is going to start picking up with Hurricane season in its prime. Looks like we will have some really fun waves throughout the Northeast at the end of the week. Hope you all score!!

12/3
The buoy was at 4 @ 11 and I think me and Pete got the best of it. We sent it to find waves to ourselves and absolutely scored. The morning session was really good with north winds. Unfortunately we didn't get any shots in the am but we were able to get a few in the afternoon but the winds had turned side shore. Overall we had a great weekend and only saw two other surfers.

Kaaboom, Se swell Lights up southern RI
Photos by Cate Brown
Took a long drive down to the cape to pick up a few new boards on Wednesday. And was greeted thursday morning with absolutely firing conditions. The swell angle was perfect and the waves were hitting the point just right. Hope everyone else got in the water and scored. The crew will be travling all over newengland this weekend. Keep an eye out.
